Incredibles 2 Trailer #2 Is Fantastically Incredible

[ad_1]

Following the new poster released yesterday, Disney Pixar has unveiled the second trailer for Incredibles 2. This animated sequel 14 years in the making is shaping up to be a huge hit during the crowded summer movie season, and this trailer will certainly help build more buzz as we get closer and closer to the June 15 release date. In the midst of battling the Underminer villain, Violet protects her family by throwing one of her most super force fields yet. Featuring Sarah Vowell as the voice of Violet, Holly Hunter as the voice of Helen, Craig T. Nelson as the voice of Bob and Huck Milner as the voice of Dash, Disney Pixar's Incredibles 2 busts into theaters on June 15, 2018.

In Incredibles 2, Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of "normal" life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack-whose super powers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don't shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That's what makes this family so Incredible.

Written and directed by Brad Bird (Iron Giant, The Incredibles, Ratatouille) and produced by John Walker (The Incredibles, Tomorrowland) and Nicole Grindle (Sanjay's Super Team short, Toy Story 3 associate producer). Released in 2004, The Incredibles grossed more than $633 million worldwide. Earning more than $70 million opening weekend, The Incredibles posted the second-largest opening at the time for an animated feature. Director Brad Bird helmed The Incredibles, which won an Academy Award® for best animated feature film of the year. Bird also directed Pixar Animation Studios' 2007 Oscar®-winning film Ratatouille, as well as 2011's live-action film Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, 2015's Tomorrowland and 1999's BAFTA-winning animated film The Iron Giant.

Along with the returning stars, the cast will also include Sophia Bush as Voyd, a new hero who can manipulate objects by creating voids that allow objects to disappear and reappear in space. She will be joined by Rick Dicker (Jonathan Banks), who was the head of the Super Relocation Program until that program was shuttered, and the nefarious siblings Winston Deavor (Bob Odenkirk) and his sister Evelyn Deavor, who both run a gigantic telecommunications company. The final new character that was recently introduced is The Ambassador (Isabella Rossellini) who is trying to legalize superheroes once again.

Brad Bird directs Incredibles 2 from his own script, marking a return to animation for the filmmaker after directing live-action hits such as Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol and Tomorrowland. The Incredibles earned a whopping $633 million worldwide during its theatrical run in 2004, and it seems quite possible that this sequel could easily best that tally, and it's possible that it could be one of the biggest animated movies of the year. Take a look at this new trailer below, courtesy of Disney Pixar YouTube. Beginning today, there's no better time to celebrate Incredibles 2 than with the first day of Pixar Fest at Disneyland, now through Sept. 3. Check out the new Incredibles 2 trailer.
